In order to continuously improve the construction level and innovation ability of Shandong laying hen technology innovation center (hereinafter referred to as "innovation center"), create a high-level technological innovation highland, support and lead the high-quality development of laying hen industry and the accelerated formation of new quality productivity. On July 18, 2024, the second meeting of the first council of the Innovation Center was held in Rizhao, Shandong.
Zhu Facheng, Director of Animal Products Quality and Safety Supervision Department of Shandong Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau, Liu Ruimei, Deputy Director of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Management Service Center, Rizhao Ju County, Shandong Province, Lin Hai, Vice President of Shandong Agricultural University, Li Youzhi, Director of Shandong Feed Veterinary Drug Quality Inspection Center, Ai Wu, Deputy Director of Poultry Research Institute, Zhang Shouyu, Chairman of Rizhao Zhongcheng Yimin Poultry Co., the meeting.
At the meeting, Director Zhu Facheng delivered a speech. In his speech, Director Zhu affirmed the achievements made by the Innovation Center over the past year and thanked the council units for their hard work. He mentioned that the innovation center, as a provincial technology innovation center platform closely integrating production, education and research, has played an active role in the breeding of laying hens, precision feeding, and disease prevention and control. In the next step, it is hoped that under the support of various council units and the guidance of the expert committee, the Innovation Center will continue to stimulate new standards and new kinetic energy, jointly open up a new model and new path for the high-quality development of the laying hen industry, and take the road of high-quality development.
Subsequently, Liu Ruimei, deputy director of the Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Management Service Center of Ju County, Rizhao, Shandong Province, delivered a speech. She extended a warm welcome to everyone and introduced the rich livestock resources of Juxian to the participants.
At the meeting, Dr. Shen Premier League of Anchi Group reported to the Council on the work of the Innovation Center in 2023 and the progress of scientific research in 2024. Each governing unit reported the progress of scientific research projects in 2024 in turn.
In the following discussion, the participants studied and discussed the work focus and development suggestions of the next innovation center. Everyone expressed their opinions and jointly contributed their wisdom and strength to the development of the innovation center.
Shandong laying hen technology innovation center is an important innovation carrier to promote the collaborative innovation of industry, University and research, promote the industrialization of major basic research achievements, and lead the high-quality development of the industry.
The meeting realized the in-depth discussion and pragmatic promotion of the future work of the innovation center, and laid a solid foundation for the development and implementation of the future work of the innovation center. In the next step, the Innovation Center will continue to improve the management and operation level and innovative research and development capabilities under the guidance of the Provincial Department of Science and Technology, the Provincial Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Bureau and the guidance of the expert committee, and with the joint efforts of all governing units, and promote the laying hen industry in Shandong Province High-quality development helps build a national model of efficient, green and healthy breeding of modern laying hens in Qilu.
